Different Tibeto-Burman ethnic groups inhabit the Shuiluo
Valley in the southwest of Sichuan (Muli County). The valley
is located at an altitude of 2000-6000 m in a botanically

Shaxi
The Shaxi Valley, inhabited by the Tibeto-Burman Bai and
Yi people, is located in the northwest of Yunnan (Jianchuan
County), between Dali and Lijiang. The ethnobotanical
