used for ecological measurements:
- Rain
gauges
- Temperature
and air humidity logger
- Ion
exchange resin-bags for comparison of soil quality
Rain
is one of the important factors determining the vegetation.
Since precipitation can vary within small areas, we installed
rain gauges in different villages.
Temperature
and air humidity are other important climatic factors
for vegetation.
Two
temperature and air humidity data logger have been installed
in each village.
Soil
quality in terms of free accessible nitrogen and
phophorus was measured with small ion-exchange resin bags.
In each village, five fields of different use were measured
to compare the soil quality within as well as between the
villages.
Additionally, we carried out an experiment in order to assess
the efficiency of traditionally used fertiliser. |
